senior prom.

senior prom..it's a bittersweet thing. bitter because it is our last official highschool dance. ghs will no longer get to see me "break it down" on the dance floor..in a ball gown no less. but sweet because prom season is a very stressful time that i no longer wish to have the burden of planning. first you have to find a dress (chaching $$). you have to figure out your hair and makeup and make appointments for those. you have to get reservations for a place to eat and transportation for the whole night. you have to figure out where you're taking pictures at and schedule a time to meet there. you have to figure out who you are going with..are you gonna get asked or are you flying solo with your single ladies? once all that's done it's a piece of cake..it's just the "pre-prom" that's a struggle.

but on to the fun stuff!

my most favorite sophomore ever. cade.

unplanned & priceless.

i wish some one would have told me my freshman year to have fun at every dance, because for almost three years i was a wall flower. i danced for four hours straight at prom. barefoot. you could say my feet hurt and had a few blisters. but it was soooo worth it.

so moral of the story : dance like no ones watching because you'll regret it if you don't.

spring break photo diary: crested butte.

crested butte is without a doubt one of my favorite spots for spring break. my family goes skiing every year (i guess we're not beach people) for spring break and we tend to go back and forth between cb and taos, new mexico. the town and mountain are seriously almost identical to whoville and the mountain the grinch lives on. YOU DON'T GET CUTER THAN THAT! the town is perfectly nestled in a valley and the resort on mt. crested butte looks down over it. legitimate perfection.

my goofy sister

if you're ever in Gunnison, CO...check this place out!

a little bit too much fun in the hat store.. :)

i got THE best leather jacket on sale here for $30. outfit post coming soon!

another highly recommended restaurant. The Slogar in crested butte. fried chicken and veggies is all they serve and it's family style. yumm!

apparently this is the best coffee in colorado and they were already closed when we got there...
